What we do
ImageResize is a free set of online image tools, including a resizer, compressor, cropper and format converters. You can change the width and height of JPG, PNG and WebP images, convert between those formats, and download the result in seconds.
Why we built it
Many resizing sites ask you to upload your photos to a server. We think that is unnecessary for a simple task. ImageResize does all of the work inside your browser, so your pictures are never sent anywhere.
What we believe
- Privacy first. No uploads, no accounts and no tracking of your images.
- Simple to use. Drop an image, set a size, download. Nothing more.
- Free and open to everyone. No watermarks and no sign-up.
How it works
Your browser reads the file, draws it onto an HTML5 canvas at the new size and exports it as a new file. Because the page uses only built-in browser features, it keeps working offline once loaded.
